In “Amsterdam Crime” (Das Erste), Commissioner de Groot uncovers a scandal involving toxic hazardous waste. The midwife Lena Lorenz (ZDF) helps a pregnant woman with paraplegia. “Germany’s Next Top Model” (ProSieben) features the high fashion show at the SCS Warehouse.

Commissioner Bram de Groot (Fedja van Huêt) and his team are shown a disturbing video: In a landfill in Malaysia, the dead body of a little boy lies among highly toxic hazardous waste from Europe! The trail leads to the renowned Amsterdam-based recycling company “Golden Wings Logistics”, whose owner Laura Lee (Joy Maria Bai) is a highly respected personality for her social commitment. Action against Lee can only be carried out with the utmost sensitivity. Bram de Groot infiltrates Alex Pollack (Hannes Jaenicke), his specialist for undercover operations, into the company.
8:15 p.m., ZDF, Lena Lorenz: Hard break, local drama
Josi Brenner (Muriel Bielenberg), heavily pregnant, drives home from Munich to the Brennerhof. Her grandfather wants to sell the farm against her will. Lena Lorenz (Judith Hoersch) not only supports her as a midwife. After an argument with Andreas Brenner (Miroslav Nemec) and her ex-boyfriend Paul Zöller (Ron Helbig), Josi suffers an attack of weakness. A mild bladder infection is diagnosed in the hospital – not uncommon in people who are dependent on a wheelchair.
8:15 p.m., ProSieben, Germany’s next top model – by Heidi Klum, casting show
Time for haute couture! But first they are looking for a new face for the underwear brand Intimissimi. According to the motto “Italian Morning”, eight models are allowed to demonstrate their skills at the casting and give an insight into their morning routine. Then comes the big high fashion show at the SCS Warehouse. The candidates present the opulent designs on the catwalk and the international model Winnie Harlow is at Heidi’s side as a guest judge for the elimination.
8:15 p.m., Sat.1, The Big General Knowledge Quiz, Show
Street reporter Fabian Köster randomly addresses people in Germany’s pedestrian zones. Anyone who answers his simple questions correctly qualifies for “The Big General Knowledge Quiz”. With Jörg Pilawa in the studio, the candidates then challenge each other and can win up to 50,000 euros in seven quiz rounds. Who can score points with a good general education and who comes away empty-handed in the end?
8:15 p.m., VOX, Pirates of the Caribbean – At the End of the World, adventure comedy
Will (Orlando Bloom), Elizabeth (Keira Knightley) and Captain Barbossa (Geoffrey Rush) must sail to the edge of the world and beyond to bring Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) back from the land of the dead. Meanwhile, Lord Beckett (Tom Hollander) advances his war against the pirates with the help of Davy Jones (Bill Nighy). There seems to be only one, desperate option to stop the cursed captain of the Flying Dutchman. But who would be crazy enough to actually take that risk?
