The diplomat Karla Lorenz (Natalia Wörner) is looking forward to her new job in the Eternal City of Rome. But shortly after taking up her duties, she is forced to put the protocol aside. An attack on an occupied theater means that the ambassador has to take action. Ines (Greta Geyer), the daughter of the building contractor Robert Felting (Francis Fulton-Smith) who works in Italy, and Karla’s employee Nikolaus Tanz (Jannik Schümann) end up in the hands of activists who demand compensation for the victims of a house collapse that they Robert Blame Felting.

9:45 p.m., Das Erste, The Amsterdam Crime: Death on the Prinzengracht, thriller

The LKA investigator Alex Pollack (Hannes Jaenicke) does not hesitate to take every risk in order to finally arrest the drug smuggler Tom Fischer (Sascha Alexander Geršak). In order to collect incriminating material against his archenemy, he infiltrated Katja Wolf (Alice Dwyer) into Fischer’s organization as an undercover investigator. Without informing his superiors or his Dutch colleagues, Pollack continues his investigation on his own initiative in Amsterdam, where Fischer now runs a shipping company.
