A seemingly routine observation by Chief Inspector Montag (Dirk Borchardt) and his colleagues turns into a nighttime shootout with burglars who steal blank passports from the Berlin Citizens’ Office. For most predators in our latitudes, this means rich prey. But for a mother cheetah in Kenya’s Masai Mara, finding food is difficult. Where millions of wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras and gazelles once grazed, now only a few animals can be found in the vast savannah. The great mass has migrated to follow the rain and the fresh grass. How is the mother cheetah supposed to feed her family like this?
