Carolin (Nina Kronjäger) and Moritz Seitz (Thomas Heinze) were once known as a successful couple of actors. But today she is considered the wife of a murderer: Four years ago, Moritz Seitz was convicted of killing the former theater star Thore Bärwald (Max Hopp) after an excessive New Year’s Eve party. Now Ole Stark (Fartin Feifel) turns himself in to the police. He is also an actor and claims to be the real killer. The public prosecutor gives Ballauf (Klaus J. Behrendt) and Schenk (Dietmar Bär) a week to find out what the story is about.

Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), who made enemies as Ant-Man, is ordered by the FBI not to leave his house. Shortly before the end of his arrest, he is approached by Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), who are in their lab researching a tunnel to free Hope’s mother from subatomic space. But the mysterious Ghost (Hannah John-Kamen) wants to use the technology for her purposes.

Katja Baumann (Simone Thomalla) takes care of a family that met a tragic fate many years ago: The little daughter Marie (Lara Tabea Günzel) disappeared without a trace and was never found. Mother Frederike (Barbara Romaner) and brother Theo (Valentin Just) cling to the hope that one day Marie will return. When Frederike falls ill and Katja takes care of Theo, she realizes that he grew up too early and had to take care of himself. Can she help the family?

A snowstorm forces the Orient Express to stop. While the passengers are ranting about it, the train crew discovers a dead body: it is the dealer Mr. Ratchett (Johnny Depp). 13 suspects and thus 13 stories await the accompanying master detective Hercule Poirot (Kenneth Branagh). Can he solve the case before the killer strikes again?
