The Chancellor (Katharina Thalbach) has recently retired and moved to a small town in the Uckermark with her husband Joachim (Thorsten Merten) and pug “Helmut”. After the turbulent life in Berlin, she finds it difficult to get involved in the tranquil country life. When Baron Philip von Baugenwitz (Thomas Heinze) is found poisoned in a castle dungeon that is locked from the inside, new life awakens in Angela. Finally a problem that needs to be solved!

When their emergency ambulance is robbed during a mission, Dr. Nina Haddad (Sabrina Amali) an unpleasant suspicion. How big are emergency paramedic Paul (Paul Zichner)’s financial worries really? And could such a breach of trust even be repaired? Firefighter Markus (Max Hemmersdorfer) also suffers a setback. He feels more than out of place at Nina’s doctors’ meeting. He also has to find out that Nina drops everything every time Emily (Mila Voigt) calls.

Even though her partner confesses to the murder, Alec doesn’t believe it was a relationship act. Can he use his analysis to convict the real perpetrator?

A mummified corpse is accidentally found in a cellar on Norderney. It quickly becomes clear that a serial killer is repeatedly walling up young women. He leaves her to die of misery in her dungeon. The “Soko Maurer” has been investigating for years. How many people are still waiting for them, and what is the motive of the perpetrator? The head of Soko, Wolfgang Huberkran (Stephan Zinner), has heard from Chief Inspector Ann-Kathrin Klaasen (Christiane Paul) in East Frisia, who has already managed to stop two serial killers using completely unorthodox methods.
