8:15 p.m., Das Erste, Die Heiland – We are lawyers: Nothing but the truth, lawyer series

Romy (Christina Athenstädt) is facing a shocking hit-and-run charge: An eight-year-old boy was fatally injured by a car, and the fleeing driver remains unknown. Florian Peiske (Holger Bülow), the boy’s father, claims to have seen an emergency vehicle with flashing lights on the day of the accident that was traveling at excessive speed shortly before he reached the scene of the accident. The question of why the police did not follow up on this lead raises additional puzzles.

8:15 p.m., ZDFneo, Friesland: biodiversity, crime thriller

The bar owner Carolin Wörner (Monika Wegener) was shot. During the investigation, police officers Süher Özlügül (Sophie Dal) and Henk Cassens (Maxim Mehmet) find themselves caught between conservationists and farmers. Erik Thomsen (Mike Hoffmann), Carolin’s friend and head of the nature conservation group, is in a dispute with the agricultural alliance. On the one hand, biodiversity is to be protected through mowing bans, but on the other hand, farmers fear financial losses as a result.

8:15 p.m., RTL, farmer is looking for a wife, dome soap

Since 2005, Germany’s most successful TV romance has been making hearts pound in the country. Once again, twelve farmers embark on a romantic search for true love. Moderator Inka Bause promises: “This year fans can look forward to very self-confident, attractive and committed farmers!”

8:15 p.m., Tele 5, Master and Commander – To the End of the World, adventure film

During the Napoleonic Wars, the highly decorated British captain Jack Aubrey (Russell Crowe) travels the world’s oceans with his research ship. An unexpected attack by the superior French privateer “Acheron” leads to heavy losses among its crew and significantly damages the ship. The otherwise level-headed Aubrey swears revenge and sets off a merciless hunt halfway around the world. This not only puts the battered crew to a tough test, but also Aubrey’s long-standing friendship with the ship’s doctor Stephen Naturin (Paul Bettany). Naturin warns of a disastrous decision.

8:15 p.m., 3Sat, Requiem for a Friend, crime thriller

A tax audit is carried out in the premises of the lawyer Joachim Vernau (Jan Josef Liefers). For some inexplicable reason, the tax officer Harry Fischer (Peter Trabner) is interested in a four-year-old entertainment receipt. Fischer therefore forces Vernau to come to the office in the middle of the night. When Vernau arrives, he discovers the tax auditor dead – shot. What makes this hospitality receipt so special?
