Prince Carl Philip took part in the book fair in Gothenburg a few days ago. He was always seen with a blonde woman. Who is the stranger?
The 39th Book Fair took place in Gothenburg, Sweden, from September 28th to October 1st, 2023. This year there was a particular focus on children’s reading habits, which is why there was a special area. That’s why it was opened A large, comfortably furnished tent was set up in the exhibition area to create a quiet place for families. This children’s area was opened by none other than Prince Carl Philip44. His wife Princess Sofia38, he didn’t have with him – but he still received female support.

Because during his visit to the book fair he was repeatedly spotted with a blonde woman: the lady is Kim Waller, Secretary General of the Prince Couple’s Foundation. She has been working in this position since 2020 and therefore did not leave her employer’s side at the important appointment. The royal foundation supports people with dyslexia, a reading and writing disorder that the Swedish prince also suffers from.

“I want you all to open your eyes to those who don’t read and ask yourself why they don’t read. To ask questions is to care! Maybe they don’t have rest, maybe they don’t have time, maybe they have haven’t found a book that interests them. Or maybe they have dyslexia,” said Carl Philip, among other things, in his speech. The father of three then chatted in a good mood with the children present.

That’s why Princess Sofia wasn’t there
Carl Philip and Sofia often attend such heartfelt appointments together, but this time something apparently came up for the princess. Sofia worked and was busy with things that do not appear on the royal family’s official website, explains court information chief Margareta Thorgren to “Svensk Damtidning”: “What we include in the calendar is not everything that Sofia does. She works all the time She spends time working on her foundation and other projects while also caring for her young children.”
