Prince Christian as stylish as ever

With his 17th birthday, Prince Christian took the next step towards coming of age and is now showing this visually. The Danish court has published a very private portrait in honor of Royal Highness, in which three things immediately stand out. The son of Prince Frederik, 54, and Princess Mary, 50, wore a blue knit sweater and a white shirt underneath on the birthday portrait from last year, so for this year’s picture it can be a little more adult. A checked blazer and wide-leg jeans make him look significantly older.

The picture shows very clearly that Christian has found his own fashion style, because he relies on a style combination that fashion connoisseurs like David Beckham swear by. Instead of combining a shirt with a blazer, Christian’s t-shirt gives the look a sporty twist. Finally, it is the prince’s facial features that appear changed. The chin area in particular seems to be getting narrower and more angular with age, which underlines Christian’s new look.

Queen Máxima: Why her monochromatic look is causing concern

You really can’t go wrong with monochrome outfits. On the third day of her state visit to Sweden, Queen Máxima, 51, proves that an outfit with pieces from one color family also carries a certain risk. Because if the colors don’t really match, the look can quickly appear inharmonious. And that’s the case with Máxima’s latest outfit. The mum of three wears a violet Zara suit with a fuchsia shirt. She also combines the ensemble with a wool coat by Massimo Dutti in the color burgundy. Although she picks up the pink tone again with her eye-catching headband by Nam Josh, the look still doesn’t create a coherent picture. Because: wandler’s bag and her leather gloves have a different shade of red again. Accessories in neutral tones such as black or beige would have been a better fit.

Catherine, Princess of Wales, in a relaxed look in London

Catherine, Princess of Wales, 40, and her husband Prince William, 40, visit the Copper Box, a multi-purpose arena in London, for an event with charity Coach Core on Thursday, October 13, 2022. While Kate always presents herself very stylishly and elegantly, her look for the sporting event seems almost conservative. She combines a tight-fitting medium-blue jacket made of tweed with black decorative seams and black-gold buttons with wide black trousers. Black silk stockings and black heels complete the outfit.

While the bold shade of blue of the princess’ Chanel vintage jacket suits her well, her overall look makes her appear significantly older than she is. With light-colored trousers, the picture would have looked significantly different, fresher and younger. Even a style queen like Catherine sometimes makes mistakes.

Charlotte Casiraghi and Caroline von Hannover: Same color direction, completely different styles

Caroline von Hannover, 65, and Charlotte Casiraghi, 36, present themselves in elegant and special looks at an event of the Prince Pierre Foundation in Monaco. Caroline von Hannover presents herself in a dark blue suit on the stage of the Foundation for the Promotion of Art and Culture. The jacket stands out due to the satin seams and the special collar. However, the outfit becomes a real eye-catcher thanks to the wide-cut trousers. The princess completes the beautiful style with loose hair, subtle make-up and silver jewelry.

Her daughter, on the other hand, is all about lace and shimmer. The black dress with flounces impresses with the combination of special fabric and the eye-catching rhinestones. It ends just above the knee and elegantly showcases the bare legs of Grace Kelly’s granddaughter. Charlotte Casiraghi completes her glamorous glitter look with satin pumps and red lips.

Yesterday, the mother of three combined the bargain blazer with a striking, golden link chain from the Laura Lombardi label for around 260 euros. Particularly beautiful: the heart pendant, which fits perfectly with the simple look of the 40-year-old and could easily have been named after her with its name “Caterina”. The New York brand uses recycled brass for their jewelry.
