George and Charlotte are back in the classroom. There are also corona rules in her school. Not all of the royals have to pay attention.
After almost half a year of homeschooling, Prince George (7) and Princess Charlotte (5) have been back in the classroom since the beginning of September. The new school year at "Thomas's Battersea" School in London has begun – as everywhere under Corona conditions.
Royal expert Katie Nicholl explained in the "Vanity Fair" how the school of Prince William (38) and Duchess Kates (38) children wants to prevent the spread of the corona virus through new rules. For example, there are currently no swimming lessons for the great-grandchildren of Queen Elizabeth II (94).
The little royals look forward to their friends
The Kensington Palace did not publish pictures of George and Charlotte's first day of school, according to Nicholl, but the two should be thrilled to be back with their friends at school. In addition, the school has reportedly asked parents to drop the children at the school gates. Only the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are reportedly allowed to continue driving their children onto the grounds.
During an appearance in Belfast a week ago, according to media reports, Prince William joked that he and his wife felt "relieved" that their two older children were back in school. "I think all parents breathe a sigh of relief that school has started again. Five months – it was wonderful, but it was a long five months," William is said to have said.
