After Princess Ingrid Alexandra contracted Corona, it became quiet around her. Now her father, Prince Haakon, is back with a health update.
On August 22, 2021, the Norwegian royal family announced unsettling news. Princess Ingrid Alexandra, 17, was infected with the corona virus. The number two of the line of succession then had to go into quarantine.
Then it became quiet about the daughter of Princess Mette-Marit, 48, and Prince Haakon, 48. Only her grandfather, King Harald, 84, reported a short time later that she was “fine”. Now Father Haakon is finally giving a more detailed health update.

The Crown Prince gave the Norwegian TV broadcaster NRK a short interview on September 1, 2021 – presumably as part of his visit to the National Archives in Oslo. He confirmed that Ingrid Alexandra was back at school. Princess Ingrid Alexandra did not infect any other royals
Ingrid Alexandra is believed to have been infected at her school. In fact, 29 other cases were found there. After the royal offspring became the only member of the Norwegian royal family to be infected with the virus, the country worried about the rest of the royals. Fortunately, all of the corona tests were negative.
