Around 24 hours ago, Prince Harry landed at London airport to visit his father King Charles, who was suffering from cancer. Now the Duke of Sussex has been spotted at the airport again – but to start the journey back to Los Angeles.

Prince Harry, 39, and King Charles, 75, are said to have not spoken to each other for around 45 minutes after Harry flew from Los Angeles to London. Now the prince has been spotted again at Heathrow Airport in London. All signs point to Harry flying back to Los Angeles.

Prince Harry: Lightning visit to London ends after around 24 hours

As the Sun reported on the afternoon of February 7, Prince Harry was “seen smiling upon his arrival at the Windsor Suite at Heathrow Airport.” The Daily Mail There is a photo of the Duke at the airport. When Prince Harry travels back to his adopted home of Montecito in the afternoon, he will end his visit to Great Britain – after just around 24 hours and just one conversation with his father.

Prince Harry’s trip to London began so hopefully! Experts interpret the 39-year-old’s quick decision to fly to Great Britain as a small sign of hope for reconciliation between the Sussexes and the Royal Family. Because: On the evening of February 5, 2024, Buckingham Palace published the news that King Charles had cancer. Just a few minutes later it was announced that Prince Harry had set off for London from Los Angeles. “The Sun” published on the morning of February 6th (Central European Time) first pictures, which are supposed to show the Duke of Sussex in a black Range Rover at LAX. The first media reports followed around 2 p.m., and around two hours later the first photo of the Duke of Sussex was published on British soil.

First photos! Prince Harry on his way to meet King Charles

British journalist Chris Ship published a photo early in the afternoon of February 6 showing two black Range Rovers accompanied by two police cars at Heathrow Airport in London. Ship suspects that Prince Harry is supposed to be sitting behind the darkened windows. However, the Duke of Sussex was not visible. The British media is picking up on the assumption. The Daily Mail says that Prince Harry completed an eleven-hour flight. The 39-year-old is said to have flown overnight from Los Angeles to London on a British Airways plane. These reports agree, among other things, with the statements of the British “Express”.

The Daily Mail publishes around 4 p.m. then more photos – and thus publishes the first picture in which Prince Harry himself can be seen. According to the British website, the 39-year-old met his father in Clarence House in what was described as a “short meeting”. Shortly afterwards, King Charles himself made his way to Sandringham. As reporters on site reported on X (formerly Twitter), Prince Harry also left Clarence House shortly after his father. The two had a shared time slot of approximately 45 minutes.

Sad certainty: No reconciliation between William and Harry

The end of Prince Harry’s visit to London also means that various experts are likely to be right: there was no mention of a meeting between him and Prince William, 41, anywhere. Quite the opposite: As early as February 6th, it became clear that a conversation between the two brothers had not been foreseen.

Journalist and news anchor Max Foster, 51, shared a rather devastating message on X in the late afternoon of February 6th: “No meeting between Prince William and Prince Harry planned during the London visit.” Foster refers to the statements of an anonymous “royal source”.
