Prince Harry pinned: this star whim that arouses controversy

Thursday August 25, 2022, Prince Harry caused controversy by going to a charity polo match in Colorado. Meghan Markle’s husband who advocates ecology has decided to borrow a private jet.

  • Prince Harry went to a charity polo match in Colorado.
  • He boarded a private jet and let it run for 30 minutes.
  • Meghan Markle’s husband had his forgotten polo kit delivered to him in a Range Rover.

While he has just returned from a trip to Africa as part of an official and ecological function, Prince Harry just sparked controversy. Indeed, he decided to go on Thursday August 25, 2022 to a charity polo match, organized in Colorado. And if Meghan Markle’s husband regularly warns about global warming and the importance of reducing your carbon footprint, his trip was not eco-friendly at all.

Indeed, according to the information revealed by the DailyMailPrince Harry arrived in an electric SUV on the airport tarmac before boarding… a private jet. It was a $9 million Bombardier Challenger 600, owned by his multi-millionaire friend, Marc Ganzi.

Prince Harry has a tantrum after forgetting his gear

If the story could have ended there, Prince Harry finally had a whim. Indeed, Prince William’s brother realized, once on board the private jet, that he had forgotten his polo equipment. He then asked for delivery and the private jet thus remained running during 30 minutes. Finally, it is in a huge 4×4 Ranger Rover that the material has been delivered to him. A whim that was quickly criticized by environmentalists.

In the end, Prince Harry’s trip, lasting an hour and a half, would have emitted more than 6 tonnes of CO2. Last June, the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II and his family had already been criticized for having took a private jet back to California after the Queen’s Jubilee. Faced with the remarks, he defended himself by explaining that 99% of his air travel was done via commercial flights. An argument that is not enough to convince in view of environmentalist image that Prince Harry has been trying to convey for several years.
