He doesn’t come to the memorial service for Prince Philip

Prince Harry will not attend Prince Philip’s memorial service. In doing so, he met with a lack of understanding in his homeland.
Prince Harry (37) will not be traveling to the UK to attend a memorial service in honor of his late grandfather Prince Philip (1921-2021). According to “People”, a spokesman confirmed this of the Royals, who moved to California in 2020 with his wife Duchess Meghan (40). The service will take place on March 29 in London. Even if he won’t be there, Prince Harry hopes to visit his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II (95), as soon as possible, the statement said.
The service at Westminster Abbey is intended to be an opportunity for representatives of the many organizations Prince Philip has worked with to pay their last respects. His funeral last April was limited to 30 people due to the Corona restrictions, so only immediate family could attend. Prince Harry was also there at the time.

The fact that Prince Harry does not come to the service for Prince Philip is apparently met with incomprehension in his home country. Royal expert Angela Levin explained according to the “Daily Mail”that Harry is “snubbing the Queen” who is still mourning the loss of her husband. The monarch herself was reportedly given just 15 minutes’ notice of Harry’s official cancellation.
According to the report, Levin says: “He got it all wrong. If he comes to a royal occasion, he gets police protection.” It looks different when he goes out with his friends. It is not yet clear whether Prince Harry will be attending the Queen’s platinum anniversary celebrations in June.
