Father’s Day was recently celebrated not only in Great Britain but also in the USA. A source now reveals how Prince Harry spent this special day in his adopted home and what Duchess Meghan and the kids gave him.
After the celebrations of Queen Elizabeth, 96, throne jubilee, Prince Harry, 37, and Duchess Meghan, 40, are now enjoying their quiet lives in their adopted home of Montecito. Father’s Day was celebrated there on June 19, 2022 – also with the Sussexes. Harry’s family is said to have given him a wonderful day. Meghan and children Archie, 3, and Lilibet, 1, would have given him rich gifts, a source reveals.
Prince Harry: This is how he spent Father’s Day
Father’s Day began for Prince Harry with one of his favorite things to do: a game of polo. Together with his team “Los Padres” he competed in the Pacific Coast Circuit Intra-Circuit Cup. His colleague and good friend Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras, 45, posted a snapshot of himself and Harry and wished all “Padres” (dt.: Fathers) a happy Father’s Day.

The Duke of Sussex then spent time with his family, a source told HollywoodLife. “Harry’s not the type for big, flashy celebrations. As a rule, Meghan and Harry like to keep their celebrations humble and down to earth. They both always prefer something sentimental to big bucks, that’s just the way they are,” says the unnamed source. Therefore, Meghan probably stuck to her tradition and wrote “a special poem about him and the children” for her loved one, as in previous years.
“She does beautiful calligraphy, so it’s a real work of art and something she enjoys a lot,” the source continues. But Harry is also said to have received homemade gifts from his children. Archie “loves to do crafts and Meghan makes a point of nurturing that creative side in him and Lili loves finger painting too.” Sounds like a successful Father’s Day, on which Prince Harry had many reasons to be happy.
