Prince Harry flies home on a private jet after a charity event. The committed environmentalist has received criticism for this.
Prince Harry, 36, has come under fire after it was revealed that he was flown back to Santa Barbara, California by private jet from a benefit polo game in Aspen, Colorado on Thursday (August 19). As “The Sun” reports, the 20-seat 52 million euro machine belongs to Harry’s polo friend, a businessman from the USA.
After the two-hour flight, Harry is said to have got into a car and driven to his property in Montecito, where he lives with his wife Duchess Meghan (40) and their two children Archie (2) and Lili (eleven weeks).
Talk about climate change as one of the “most pressing problems”
It was only three months ago that Harry had climate change in a TV show referred to as “one of the most pressing problems we face”. And just a few hours ago, his father, Prince Charles (72), made his most haunting statement on the subject to date when he addressed the British business leaders in one Guest post for “Mail Online” said they had to help, otherwise the planet would be “finished”.
On the Prince of Wales’s Instagram page it also said in relation to the forest fires in Greece: “I have long believed that the challenge is far too big and too important for one country to tackle it alone. British firefighters are doing what they can to help to help in Greece, but we must all go to the front now to tackle climate change as a whole. “
Prince Harry and his family have lived in the United States since 2020. Both no longer work for the British Crown.
