Prince Harry: This is the replacement date for the Invictus Games

In March it was confirmed that Prince Harry's Invictus Games had to be canceled. A replacement date has now been found.

Prince Harry (35) will probably celebrate this occasion properly: The Invictus Games he launched have found a replacement date. The Paralympic sports event for war-injured soldiers is to take place between May 29, 2021 and June 5, 2021 in The Hague, the Netherlands. This has now been announced on Instagram, among others.

The "safest option"

The fifth Invictus Games should have risen in May 2020, but in March Harry and the Invictus Games Foundation had to cancel the event due to the corona crisis. Back then, people were feverishly looking for alternatives, but the cancellation was the "most sensible and safest option for everyone" the Royal explained.

The subsequent sixth Invictus Games have also been postponed by one year due to the corona pandemic. Instead of 2022, the games will now take place in Düsseldorf in 2023 and thus come to Germany for the first time.
