In 2018, as Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s wedding date was fast approaching, the Duke of Sussex decided not to invite several of his friends for a very particular reason.
Prince Harry is increasingly isolated. First on the family level, since his departure from the royal family to be able to live his life in the company of Meghan Markle as he saw fit. But according to recent information, it seems that members of the staff and the royal family are not the only ones who have had difficulty supporting the princely couple during this period. Some school friends of Prince Harry also felt that the latter had “changed enormously” since the beginning of his relationship with Meghan Markle. So much so that some of them expressed their concerns about the success of this marriage to their friend, which aroused monstrous anger in the future husband. In a book called Finding Freedom, co-authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand, royals experts, said one of Prince Harry’s best friends, Tom Inskip, better known as Skippy, confessed to feeling like he “lost a friend” after the marriage in question. The authors claimed that Tom expressed concern about the speed at which Harry’s new relationship was moving and suggested the pair live together before officially saying yes to life. Which was not at all to the taste of those concerned, who turned their backs on him.
In another book, Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand were able to collect the testimony of another former comrade of Prince Harry, Tom, who did not hesitate to tell them of his disappointment a few weeks after the wedding. According to him, and the latter says that several of his friends think the same thing, Meghan has changed Harry too much. Now, Meghan and Harry are living with fewer and fewer people in their close circle. But they don’t seem to care more than that.
