Prince Louis drew everyone’s attention when he appeared on the balcony at this year’s “Trooping the Color”. Prince William can laugh about it.

Prince Louis won the hearts of royal fans at this year’s Trooping the Color parade. Again and again the four-year-old tried to change his place, meandered past great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth, 96, and engaged her in a conversation. In the minutes between, he made funny faces, yawned loudly and provided some funny moments.

Prince Louis missing from Wales trip

However, two days later, when his parents traveled to Cardiff, Wales, with Prince George, 8, and Princess Charlotte, 7, there was no trace of Louis. Wasn’t he allowed to come along because of his appearance at the Trooping the Color parade? This was also the question asked by Anna Jones, 53, who was in Cardiff on Saturday 4 June 2022 to collect her wedding dress. Together with her friend Sandra Harris, 74, she involved the Cambridge family in a conversation, as she now reveals to the British newspaper “Mirror”.

“Where’s your brother?” Anna Jones asked Princess Charlotte and Prince George. “We wondered where he was,” she and her friend said. Prince William, 39, then explained to them that the trip would have been a little too much for the four-year-old, pointing to the ground in amusement in reference to the “Trooping the Color” parade, jokingly suggesting that Louis might be himself would have put here.

Princess Charlotte had to admonish her brother

The two women also asked the Cambridge kids how their carriage debut at the parade was, telling Princess Charlotte they saw her stop little brother Louis from waving too much. “Is she bossy, George?” the women joked and laughed. “At least you didn’t say it was Mommy who was bossy,” Duchess Catherine, 40, then interjected.

In this video you can see the moment when Charlotte admonishes her little brother:
