He lives on in his music: In July, the Prince estate posthumously released a new album by the artist.

Fans of the late musician Prince (1958-2016, “Uptown”) can look forward to a previously unheard album. Like The Prince Estate and the US Recorded music label Legacy Recordings on Thursday, “Welcome 2 America”, a work from 2010, will be released on July 30th. The record should contain twelve tracks.

According to the official estate, the album is a “powerful, creative statement that documents Prince’s concerns, hopes and visions for a changing society and anticipates an era of political division, disinformation and a renewed struggle for racial justice”. In addition to the dozen songs, the Deluxe Edition includes a previously unreleased live concert video that was recorded as part of his 2011 “Welcome 2 America Live” tour in Los Angeles, California.
