Prince Philip will probably stay in the hospital. Allegedly, Prince Harry is already preparing to travel to the UK.
Prince Philip (99) apparently remains in the hospital. According to British media reports, the husband of Queen Elizabeth II (94) will also spend the weekend in "King Edward VII's Hospital". The Duke of Edinburgh has been in the private clinic in London since Tuesday – a "precautionary measure" according to the palace – and is supposed to recover there for several days under the supervision of the doctors. The 99-year-old allegedly had previously felt uncomfortable for several days, it is said.
Prince Philip cannot receive visitors due to the corona pandemic. A situation that he takes calmly, as the "Sun" reports with reference to an anonymous source: He knows that everyone is thinking of him and praying for him. The Duke has been in corona isolation for a year and is therefore used to all possible restrictions. "He could hardly see his family last year. He knows only too well that a lot of people have been through worse than him."
Is Prince Harry coming to the UK?
Prince Philip and the Queen have withdrawn from Windsor Castle due to the corona pandemic. In January of this year they had received a vaccination against Covid-19. The hospital stay should not be related to a Covid disease, it says from the palace.
Prince Harry (36), who has been living in the USA with his wife, Duchess Meghan (39), and son Archie (1) for about a year, is now reportedly planning to come to Great Britain in an emergency. The "Mirror" reports. Harry is informed "regularly" about his grandfather's health. The Duke of Sussex is said to have already made arrangements to travel by private jet should Prince Philips' condition worsen. The 36-year-old has already gone into isolation in his California property to ensure that he can fly immediately if necessary.
When leaving the USA and entering the country, Harry will probably do a corona test, the paper reports. It is not known whether his wife Meghan, who is pregnant with their second child, would travel with him.
