Rose Hanbury speaks out on affair rumors

Prince William is said to have had a liaison with Rose Hanbury years ago. While Catherine, Princess of Wales’s public absence is a mystery, the alleged affair is now coming forward.
Amid speculation about Catherine’s health, Princess of Wales, 42, has spoken out about the former alleged affair of Prince William, 41, Rose Hanbury, 40.
Prince William: Alleged mistress denies rumors
Years ago there were rumors about a love affair between the Prince of Wales and the British noblewoman. Even though they were declared false by experts back then, they persisted. In a current episode of the “Late Show,” host Stephen Colbert, 59, recalls the alleged liaison by humorously linking it to Kate’s current absence. The Princess of Wales is currently recovering at home from major abdominal surgery she underwent in January. Rose Hanbury has now firmly rejected the affair rumors and had her spokesman deny them to “Business Insider”. The speculation was “completely false,” the representative told the magazine, according to a report from “Hello!”.
Rose Hanbury is friends with William and Kate
Rose Hanbury’s connections to the British royal family go back a long way: her grandmother Lady Elizabeth Lambart, †92, was one of the bridesmaids at the wedding of Queen Elizabeth, †96, and Prince Philip, †99, in 1947. Hanbury herself, the former worked as a model, belongs to the inner circle of the royal family and is a regular guest at high-profile royal events such as the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth or recently at the coronation of King Charles, 75.
Rose Hanbury has been married to David Rocksavage, the 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley, since 2009. The couple live at Houghton Hall in Norfolk, which is close to William and Kate’s Anmer Hall estate. Despite the affair rumors, Prince William and Catherine, Princess of Wales remain good friends with the Cholmondeleys.
