Prince William and Duchess Kate complement each other perfectly, their former private secretary is sure.

Prince William (39) and Duchess Kate (39) are apparently the perfect couple – and also when it comes to the future of the British royal family. That’s because the two complement each other so well, explains Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton (61), the two’s former private secretary, in an upcoming Royal issue of the US magazine “People”. Both bring different means “to reach the whole”.

According to Lowther-Pinkerton, William has the experience of the royal house and knows where the institution is and how it has developed. The Duchess, on the other hand, has a “pragmatic awareness” of what it is like to come from “a decent, down-to-earth family”.

You can be modern parents

An unnamed family friend goes on to explain that William and Kate can mix “traditional duty and fully modern parents” together. The insider is probably alluding to the fact that the two can do justice to the institution in even more important roles as well as their family in private. The couple have been married since 2011 and have three children together: Prince George (8), Princess Charlotte (6) and Prince Louis (3).

Another insider says that with the withdrawal of Prince Harry (36) and Duchess Meghan (40), William and Kate are already more in the spotlight than before – not because of the number of appointments they have to attend, but rather because ” to be the modern face of the institution “. “Thank goodness they got each other and the training they went through,” says Lowther-Pinkerton. In the past ten years, the two have always been firmly connected. Even if you had searched everywhere, “frankly, you couldn’t have found a better couple”.
