Prince William and Duchess Kate: They also teach their children during the holidays

The British Royals also have homeschooling during the corona isolation. It was "fun," said Prince William (37) laughing in a BBC interview that he gave from home together with wife Kate (38). The two are parents of Prince George (6), Princess Charlotte (4) and Prince Louis, who will celebrate his second birthday next week.

The royal offspring was also taught by his parents when he was actually out of school. "Do not tell the children, we even continued on vacation," said the Duchess of Cambridge of the "challenging" task. She therefore considers herself "very mean", says the 38-year-old. But the children would have shown such perseverance.

Royal family relies on video calls

Overall, the time at home is "wonderful" for the children, Kate said. It was amazing how much you could do in one day. In addition to school lessons, she talked about playing, cooking and baking together. William and Kate also kept in touch with the other members of the royal family during the Corona crisis – with the help of video calls, as they revealed. That was only a little difficult with the little Prince Louis, who only wanted to "press the red button", said William.

The 37-year-old also said in the interview that he was initially "quite worried" about his father Prince Charles (71), who was infected with the corona virus in March. The heir to the throne had only mild symptoms, so William was confident that his father would recover completely. The worst thing for Charles was that he couldn't go outside in the fresh air, said William.

But he is also concerned about the health of his grandparents, Queen Elizabeth II (93) and Prince Philip (98). However, they would have done everything to ensure that they were protected and isolated at Windsor Castle.
