It was probably shot on the same day as the birthday portrait of Prince Louis, who turned five in April, because he wears the same sweater. Charlotte and George look up at their father in admiration, Louis hugs his father’s neck and laughs heartily for the camera.

The Waleses are also not sitting on a randomly chosen bench during the shoot, which took place at the Windsor estate.
