Royal is looking forward to the historic European Championship final of the English
Prince William watched the game England versus Denmark at Wembley Stadium tense.

Prince William enthusiastically celebrates the European Championship victory over Denmark on Twitter. And now the trophy should “stay at home”.
With the very narrow victory over Denmark after extra time, the national soccer team of England made it to the final of a European championship for the first time. Among the spectators at Wembley Stadium was Prince William (39), who attended this historic moment live and then went on was huge on Twitter. There the Royal wrote: “What a game, what a result! A great team performance. The whole country will be behind you on Sunday.”
Next Sunday (July 11th) the final of this year’s European Championship will also take place in London’s Wembley Stadium. Even if the strongest team in the tournament, Italy, is waiting there, William is optimistic that the cup will stay in England and has tagged his post with the hashtag: “It’s coming home”.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson (57) also watched the game in the stadium. Like Prince William he then praised the team performance on Twitter and is now looking forward to the final: “England played their hearts out tonight. What a fantastic performance by Gareth Southgate’s team. Now for the final. Let’s bring it home.”
The Danes are proud of what they have achieved
The Danish royal family was meanwhile on Instagram as a fair loser. The crown prince couple Frederik (53) and Mary of Denmark (49) and their son Christian (15) wrote about the surprise team from Denmark: “Thanks to our national team for a fantastic European championship. Even if the party ends now (for this time!) , we are all proud of the fantastic performance that we were able to witness. ” All three watched the game on Wednesday evening (July 7th) in London.
