Princess Beatrice: your daughter is “a little rock star”
Princess Beatrice, 33, became a mother for the first time on September 18, 2021. In the “Chelsea and Westminster Hospital” her daughter Sienna Elizabeth saw the light of day alive and well and crowned the love of Beatrice and husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 38.
The proud mom has not yet published a photo of the little royal, impatient royal fans only saw a footprint. A private thank-you card that a Twitter user has now publicly posted on the Internet is also no longer visible, but Beatrice reveals a sweet detail about her little daughter.
“Thank you for thinking of us during this extraordinary and special time. We are so grateful that we can welcome this little person into our family. She is a little rock star! A thick knobbly nose, an absurd mustache, a bright red winter hat and ominous glasses: Prince Charles, 73, really pulled out all the stops with this disguise. Even the paparazzi had to look twice when the royal stepped out of his ski resort in 1980 with this very questionable look. Of course there is an intention behind the masquerade – which unfortunately didn’t quite work out.
Because as a member of the British royal family – and especially as a future king – it has been almost impossible for Prince Charles to leave the palace walls unseen since birth. On his skiing holiday in the early 1980s, the then 31-year-old Royal just wanted to enjoy a carefree time in Switzerland – without photos, without the jostling crowds around him. Apparently, Prince Charles thought he could mislead photographers with his fake mustache and very prominent nose. An attempt that unfortunately failed. However, Charles took it with humor when the photographers did recognize him and even posed for a souvenir picture with the paparazzi: This time, however, they were the ones in disguise.

Queen Elizabeth: the next stroke of fate overtakes the monarch
Queen Elizabeth, 95, has to say goodbye to a longtime confidant again. Ivor Herbert, a former racing journalist and trainer who was a good friend of the Queen, has died aged 96. As the “Daily Mail” reports, Ivor Herbert has regularly visited the Queen at her Balmoral estate in Scotland.
His death was confirmed by Britain’s The Times on January 10, 2022. An obituary read: “Herbert Ivor died peacefully at home on January 5, aged 96. Beloved father of Nick, Kate and Jane and grandfather of Joe. Private cremation. Details of a funeral service to follow.”
News of his death reached the Queen just days after it became known that her friend and lady-in-waiting, Lady Diana Farnham, died on December 28, 2021 at the age of 90. A week earlier, the Duchess of Grafton, also lady-in-waiting and friend of Queen Elizabeth, died.

Sarah Ferguson, 62, has just gone on a skiing holiday with her daughters Princess Beatrice, 33, and Princess Eugenie, 31, and their families in the luxury Swiss resort of Verbier. Now the Duchess of York is back home – and has something to announce right away. Her popular web series “Storytime with Fergie and Friends,” in which the 62-year-old reads children’s stories, is taking a break.
This was recently communicated in a story on the official Instagram account of the YouTube broadcast. It reads: “Storytime with Fergie and Friends will be taking another break. We’ll let you know about a return date soon.” So it remains to be seen when their little listeners will again be able to enjoy listening to beautiful stories with a heartwarming message or lesson.

What some Royal fans may not know: Princess Beatrice, 33, and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, 38, have not only been in a relationship since 2018 and have been married since July 2020. The Queen’s granddaughter has known the father of her four-month-old daughter Sienna Elizabeth Mapelli Mozzi since she was a child. His family have been close friends with Beatrice’s divorced parents Prince Andrew, 61, and Sarah Ferguson, 62, for decades.
But the couple still shares one thing in common – or rather, a special event. As is now known, according to the British “Express” they were born in the same hospital – in the renowned London Portland Hospital. Other members of the British royal family were also born here, including Beatrice’s sister Princess Eugenie, 31, as well as her son August, 11 months, and Archie Mountbatten-Windsor, the two-year-old son of Duchess Meghan, 40, and Prince Harry, 37.

Duchess Catherine is happy about the many congratulations on her birthday
On her 40th birthday on January 9, 2022, Duchess Catherine received hearts from all over the world. Prince William’s wife, 39, received endless congratulations – and compliments. For her milestone birthday, three stunning portraits of the royal were published, which probably took her husband’s breath away. She posted one of the dreamy photos again on Twitter to say thank you very much.
It’s a rarity for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to speak out on their social media channels. Catherine used her special day to personally address her well-wishers. “Thank you for all your lovely birthday wishes,” she wrote to the community on her birthday – while also thanking photographer Paolo Roversi, 74, and the National Portrait Gallery for publishing her sensational portraits.
