Princess Estelle: For a good cause, she hops on two crutches

Princess Estelle (7) broke her leg while skiing at the beginning of the year. The offspring of the Swedish royals have been wearing plaster on their right legs since then. For a special event, however, the daughter of Crown Princess Victoria (42) and Prince Daniel (46) did not miss the chance to hop on crutches with their family. This is shown by a video on Instagram, which was published as part of the "Upp och hoppa 2020" campaign.

The Swedish Royals have gathered in the green for the "Up and Jump" challenge. During the exercise, as many jumping jacks as possible should be made in 31 seconds. While Prince Daniel bounces in a relaxed rhythm and lets his legs and arms swing, his son Prince Oscar (3) jumps in a circle next to him. Sister Estelle tries to keep up with the two and jumps with the crutches as best she can. The three were filmed by Crown Princess Victoria. The sporting action comes from the charity "Generation Pep", which was founded by the crown princess and her husband. The participants in the campaign should also film themselves and share the video on social media, the post said.

Princess Estelle broke her leg in an unfortunate fall during a family ski holiday in early January, as the newspaper "Aftonbladet" initially reported and the court confirmed shortly afterwards. Estelle is said to have learned to ski as a small child. The family spent the skiing holiday in the Alps, where they also celebrated New Year's Eve. Despite the injury, the royals continued their vacation, it is said.
