Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are expecting their first child. Now the Queen's granddaughter shared a cute souvenir photo.

Princess Eugenie (30) has reason to be excited: In a few weeks she is expecting their first child with her husband, Jack Brooksbank (34). On Friday evening (January 22), the granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II (94) shared a throwback photo on Instagram that shows the parents-to-be on the day of their engagement.

"Three years ago today," wrote the daughter of Prince Andrew (60) and Duchess Sarah (61) to the post. And further: "Looking back at the happy moment when Jack and I announced our engagement." The photo shows Princess Eugenie in the same floral print dress she wears on the official engagement portraits from January 2018. On the private snapshot, she looks beaming at her then fiancé and now husband, who in turn grins into the camera.

First baby should come in mid-February

Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank announced their engagement on January 22, 2018 – eight years earlier they had met on a skiing holiday in Switzerland. Almost two years after their wedding in October 2018, Eugenie announced via Instagram that the couple is expecting their first child in early 2021. According to the British "Hello!" Magazine, the baby will be born in mid-February.
