Festival visit with brother Sverre Magnus is sharply criticized

A few days ago it was announced that Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus attended a festival with their parents. The Norwegian royal family is now receiving criticism for this.
Recently, the so-called Stavernfestivalen, a concert event in the Norwegian municipality, took place again Larvik. “Of course it’s unpleasant when it becomes a pattern that they abuse privileges in this way. It’s not good. Nobody refuses them a party, it’s part of life, but they represent the royal family there too. It’s important to remember that,” explains the expert.
No rules were broken
However, lawyer John Christian Elden assures “Dagbladet” that no rules were broken when Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus entered the said area. “The rules apply to serving alcohol, not entry,” he says, adding, when asked if it was right to let them in because they are members of the royal family, “I think the rest of the festival would have been very disappointed if the crown prince and princess left immediately because they weren’t allowed to bring their children into the area.”
