Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus are said to have recently enjoyed live music at a Norwegian festival. However, the visit was not without an embarrassing incident.

A few days ago the so-called Stavernfestivalen took place again, a concert event in the Norwegian municipality Larvik. Apparently, music fans were not only able to examine some live acts there, but also took a look at members of the royal family: Because according to the newspaper “Se og Hør” both are Princess Mette Marit49, and Prince Haakon49, as well Princess Ingrid Alexandra19, and Prince Sverre Magnus17, been there.

Princess Mette-Marit and Co. are big music fans

Among others, Magdi Omar Ytreeide Abdelmaguid, 39, and Chirag Rashmikant Patel, 38, who are known as the duo “Karpe”, performed at the festival. The members of the Crown Prince’s family are said to be big fans of the band and have seen them both at home and abroad. It is therefore hardly surprising that Mette-Marit and Co. did not want to miss the “Karpe” performance at the Stavernfestivalen. This is also confirmed by the Norwegian singer Andreas Andresen Haukeland, 30, – better known as “Tix” – who was also present, opposite “Se og Hør”. “It’s the second time I’ve met them at the ‘Karpe’ concert, they’re a very nice family. I have a lot of respect for their role and the work they do,” he says.

Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus: That went wrong when you visited the festival

Princess Ingrid Alexandra is said to have been at the festival without her family before, it is said. The 19-year-old saw the concert of the popular group “Ballinciaga”. When Ingrid Alexandra later appeared with her parents and her brother, an incident is said to have occurred. The sibling duo tried to get into the “premium area” of the site where alcohol is served.

However, there is a strict age limit in this area: You have to be at least 20 years old, even if you are accompanied by an adult. Accordingly, Ingrid Alexandra and Sverre Magnus were denied access. Mette-Marit and Haakon marched ahead into the premium space, but paused when they realized their children couldn’t follow, according to the Norwegian publication. Certainly the family also had a good time in the non-premium area.
