Also this year the royals won’t miss the Chelsea Flower Show. Kate kicked things off in a bright pink shirt dress.

In the current spring-like weather, Princess Kate (41) also likes to wear colorful outfits – including her visit to the opening of this year’s Chelsea Flower Show in London on Monday (May 22). Prince William’s wife (40) showed up there in a midi-length and bright pink blouse dress from the fashion label ME+EM, which costs the equivalent of around 520 euros.

She paired it with a pair of silver drop earrings and lace-up beige suede espadrilles. Kate wore her brunette hair down.

Memory of the Queen?

Looking back at last year’s Chelsea Flower Show, Kate’s choice of outfit could be a small homage to the late Queen Elizabeth II (1926-2022). The monarch also chose a bright pink coat blazer for her last garden show.

During her performance, Princess Kate made, among other things, a picnic with young people from a total of ten different London schools. Together they strolled through this year’s show gardens. Kate is known to have a passion for nature and designed a garden herself as part of the Chelsea Flower Show a few years ago, which she personally showed the Queen at the time.

A traditional festival for the royals

Kate and other members of the Royal Family have been regulars in the past at the Chelsea Flower Show, which takes place every year for five days in May in London’s Chelsea area, covering an area of around 11 acres. The garden show started on Monday and will continue until next Saturday, May 27th. The event is organized by the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), a British association that promotes the art of gardening.
