Princess Mette-Marit: Marius Borg Høiby is not just out of line visually
On the day after her milestone birthday, Mette-Marit invited family members, friends and companions to a service in the Oslo Palace Chapel. After that, the party company went on Litteraturhuset, where the birthday child could look forward to carefully selected gifts and spending time with their loved ones. Photos show, among other things, how Mette-Marit at her daughter’s side Princess Ingrid Alexandra, 19, on the way to Litteraturhuset. Also Prince Haakon50, and their son Prince Sverre Magnus17, can be seen in the pictures.
While the entire family was already present at the service, one was missing: Mette-Marit’s eldest son Marius. According to the “Dana Press” portal, the 26-year-old decided to skip the joint service and only appear at the Litteraturhuset meeting. And not just in any way: Marius drove up on his motorbike – in a hoodie, jeans and sneakers.

The critical look, the blond hair and the sporty outfit don’t really fit into the overall picture of the party in honor of his mom’s milestone birthday. Compared to the other gentlemen present, who have opted for elegant suits, Marius stands out visually. And that after he had come later anyway.

His outfit wasn’t Marius’ first faux pas on Mette-Marit’s birthday
After his memorable appearance at Princess Mette-Marit’s private party Marius is conspicuous by his absence just a few days later. After the small party, his mother and stepdad Haakon celebrated their 50th birthday together on August 25th. In the backyard of the palace in Oslo, the crown prince couple threw a party with around 380 guests. Not there: Mette-Marit’s eldest son Marius. While Ingrid Alexandra and Sverre Magnus were beaming with their parents, the 26-year-old didn’t show up – and preferred to celebrate in a nightclub just one kilometer away without his family at a “James Bond” party.
