She’s back to work as a caregiver

During the Corona crisis, Princess Sofia supported the Sophiahemmet Hospital, of which she is the patron. Now Prince Carl Philip’s wife is apparently working for the clinic again – and has been for a few weeks, as a post reveals.
Recently, she was rarely seen in public appearances alongside her husband Prince Carl Philip, 44. There is a reason for this: Very secretly, quietly, Princess Sofia, 38, has started helping out again in a clinic as a nurse.
Princess Sofia helps out at Sophiahemmet
As the Sophiahemmet Hospital, whose patron is Sofia, announced on Instagram, the princess is currently working as a volunteer nursing assistant in the mandometer clinic department. The facility specializes in treating eating disorders such as bulimia and anorexia.
She has been active since spring
Princess Sofia seems to have been doing this volunteer work for some time. A post from April shows pictures of her first day in the facility’s intensive care unit. The mother of Prince Alexander, 7, Prince Gabriel, 5, and Prince Julian, 2, sits at a table with another employee in hospital clothes and smiles expectantly at the camera.
Support during the Corona pandemic
Even during the Corona crisis, Princess Sofia decided to actively support the staff at Sophiahemmet. Before it all started, she completed a three-day nursing course at the hospital’s college. The mother of three then worked in the clinic two days a week.

“I wash the dishes”
Her duties included cleaning and working in the kitchen, Svensk Damtidning reported. According to Dana Press, she told the TV show “Nyhetsmorgon”:
I help a lot in the kitchen, organize breakfast and lunch, wash the dishes, clean the rooms and make the beds. Easy patient care. I drive to the operating room and pick up the patients from the operations.
The birth of her third child, Prince Julian, forced her to take a break in March 2021. However, the return to work seems to show that Princess Sofia may have found her calling.
