At the end of September, Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel went on a hike with various organizations on Everyman’s Rights Day. The video blogger and influencer Margaux Dietz had the opportunity to chat with Victoria during the tour – and learned private details from the family life of the Swedish royals.

Allemansrätten, i.e. the right of public access, applies in Sweden. This means that everyone can be in nature almost anywhere and enjoy it to the fullest. Of course you should be careful. When the Gen-Pep organization founded by Princess Victoria, 45, and Prince Daniel, 49, along with other organizations, called for a hike from Akalla to Stockholm on September 20, 2022, the influencer Margaux Dietz was also there. And she was now chatting about her sometimes very private conversation with the Royal.

Princess Victoria: She was born with a love of nature

Victoria told her that as a child she was out and about a lot with her parents King Carl Gustaf, 76, and Queen Silvia, 78. “In our family it has always been the case that we spent a lot of time in nature and talked a lot about nature. And not only what nature does for us, but also with us,” the heir to the throne reported.

Princess Estelle and Prince Oscar are happy to be asked

The topics of nature and the environment were already present in Victoria and her siblings from an early age. “I’m very grateful for that, and I try to pass that on to my children,” the mother of two confided in her interlocutor. Margaux then wanted to know if Princess Estelle, 10, and Prince Oscar, 6, like to be outside. “Yes, they definitely do,” said Victoria. “And I mainly ask them: ‘Shall we go outside?’, ‘No, no, no’. And then when we’re outside, you can see how quickly it happens, they come up with a fun game or some nonsense and they Mood changes,” reported the king’s daughter, snapping her finger.

It is nothing new that Princess Victoria and her husband are very committed to environmental protection and sustainability. On World Water Day, her children were even involved with their mother. They don’t shy away from picking up rubbish on the beach either.

This unusual moment brought a smile to Victoria’s lips

Meeting the Royal was an exciting experience for blogger Margaux. And there was even a pretty funny moment during the hike when some kids recognized the influencer and asked Victoria of all people to take a picture of them and Margaux. “Should I take the photo this time?” The heir to the throne asked in surprise, and then smiled: “That’s nice”. Dietz himself found the situation a little surreal.

After the hike, the blogger is enthusiastic, as the magazine “Svensk Damtidning” reports. “What a woman, Crown Princess Victoria. I’m so impressed by how you, as heir to the throne, can keep both feet on the ground. You get the feeling that the Crown Princess really loves the Swedish forest. Yes, it would be a little dream to conquer the wilderness with her.”
