When Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel are not busy with their royal duties, they spend a lot of time in nature. This is proven by a new snapshot in which the couple shows their private side.
Audiences, external appointments, video conferences: Princess Victoria, 44, and Prince Daniel, 48, have a tight schedule, the couple is constantly on the go. The royals prefer to enjoy the little free time that is left with their children Princess Estelle, 10, and Prince Oscar, 5. Or they sneak out in front of the palace walls for a relaxing walk as a couple. Even at the risk of being recognized and photographed by other curious walkers.
Fan photo while walking
This happened to Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel over a year ago. During a walk they were recognized by tour guide Joni Sanderovitch. According to the Swedish magazine “Svensk Damtidning” they were staying in Hagapark in Solna. Well possible, after all it is not far from Haga Castle, the family home.
Joni Sanderovitch now reports on Facebook about his encounter with the crown princess couple: “About a year ago I was walking in a forest park in Stockholm, and in front of me a couple came up to me and greeted me,” he recalls. “This couple was the Swedish Crown Princess Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel.” “After a short conversation, we took a photo together (of course with Corona distance),” writes Sanderovitch and emphasizes: “A very nice memory.”
On the recording, Victoria and Daniel are wearing casual clothes and sports shoes, they are smiling friendly at the camera. Only Prince Daniel covers his face with dark sunglasses and a cap, he probably preferred to remain anonymous.
“You were really super nice!”
The travel guide now reveals to “Svensk Damtidning” that Daniel and Victoria were not alone, but with their bodyguards. “They said hello and we got talking,” Sanderovitch said. At first he didn’t recognize the two: “But then I realized that it was Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel. They had their bodyguards with them, but otherwise they were two people,” Sanderovitch recalls. “They asked me where I came from and what I was doing in Stockholm,” he says and enthuses: “They were really super nice!”
Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel deny crisis rumors
A lot happened in the months after this walk, especially the last few weeks have been turbulent for Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel. The online magazine “Stoppa Pressarna” repeatedly speculated about a marriage crisis in the dream couple, and there was even talk of a divorce. The rumor mill was bubbling, some media checked on the palace. At some point, the speculation got the better of it, so that Victoria and Daniel spoke up personally and decidedly denied a divorce in a joint statement – an absolute rarity!
