Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel spent a special evening – and not alone: They met with Swedish superstars. Private photos of this meeting have now appeared on social media.
Princess Victoria, 46, and Prince Daniel, 50, regularly attend royal appearances and have their photos taken by photographers. But every now and then they also take part in events under the radar – like now. They now welcomed producer Filip Hammar, 49, behind closed doors at Haga Castle and spent an evening together with him and his father Lars.
Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel enjoy a cinema evening with Swedish stars
Filip Hammar has been working with Fredrik Wikingsson, 50, for many years. The two journalists and presenters have already produced a number of TV shows and films together. On March 1, 2024, their new film “Den sista resan” (German: “The Last Journey”), in which they play the main roles, celebrated its premiere. In the film, the well-known Swedish TV duo goes on a trip to France to rekindle the joy of life of Filip’s father Lars. According to “Svensk Damtidning”, the film has already enjoyed great success. On Tuesday, April 16th, Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel also watched the film and then spent the evening with the filmmakers. Filip Hammar is now sharing photos from the private meeting on his Instagram account.
“The Crown Princess and Prince Daniel met Sweden’s biggest film stars yesterday. They watched “Den sista resan” together and then enjoyed a long, relaxed dinner at Haga Castle. There was a lot of laughter and dad told stories like in old times,” writes Filip on several photos that show him with dad Lars and the Royals.
Producers rave about meeting the royals
A little later, Lars and Filip Hammar as well as Fredrik Wikingsson rave about meeting the Crown Princess couple. Lars describes the meeting to “Svensk Damtidning” as “surreal” and says: “It was really incredible.” Filip also reports on how the evening went. “I think it was Fredrik who was in contact with Prince Daniel. Then he asked them if they wanted to see the film. ‘Yes!’ they said. So we went to the cinema with them first.”
And further: “It was just Dad, Mom, me, Fredrik and Victoria and Daniel. And the guards who sat there and grumbled. So we watched the whole film with them. Life takes you to strange places. Afterwards We went to the castle and had dinner.”
