Man wasn’t wearing a helmet
When she noticed the cyclist crossing from her right, she immediately initiated emergency braking, but was no longer able to prevent a collision. The 79-year-old, who was not wearing a bicycle helmet, was hit by the car and pushed to the ground. He suffered serious head injuries and was taken to the LKH Feldbach by the emergency services. As the hospital announced, the 79-year-old died from his serious injuries on Monday. The 22-year-old suffered a shock but was uninjured.
