Prisca Thevenot, mother and politician: her “golden husband” always there to help her!

She stepped into the light. After serving as Secretary of State for Youth and Universal National Service, Prisca Thévenot has been promoted to government spokesperson and Minister Delegate for Democratic Renewal on January 11th. Also mother of two little boys, the politician is not idle. However, she seems to have solved an equation deemed impossible: reconcile private and professional life. A feat praised by her Instagram subscribers, as evidenced by a question asked during an FAQ session (Frequently Asked Questions, editor’s note) where a subscriber asked her how she managed to juggle her responsibilities.

A question to which the politician answered in complete relaxation and honesty: I have a golden husband!“, adding: He helps me a lot in addition to supporting me in what I do. Yes yes… I should say: ‘It’s normal that he helps me’. [Mais] in reality: it’s not that common. So when it exists, it must be said to perhaps inspire others. In April 2022, in an interview given to GalaPrisca Thévenot had already expressed to what extent her husband was an essential pillar in her life: “[Je concilie mes deux vies] in a very fluid and natural way, also because I have a husband who is very supportive of me.. He also has a busy professional life, he is not in politics, but he gives me the opportunity to do it.”

Years of hard work

At just 39 years old, Prisca Thévenot took over by Olivier Véran as government spokesperson, who had held this position since July 2022. It should be remembered that this mother joined the third government of Élisabeth Borne in July 2023, after having served in an exemplary manner within La République in progress, notably as party spokesperson since 2020. Before her appointment to the government, Prisca Thévenot represented the 8th constituency of Hauts-de-Seine as a Renaissance MP. She has since given way to Virginie Lanlo.
