Priscilla Presley (79) has once again mastered a public appearance with flying colors. On June 13, the ex-wife of Elvis Presley was a guest at the Songwriters Hall Of Fame Induction And Awards Gala in New York. She appeared at the event at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in a chic combination of a black maxi skirt and a white silk blouse.

The actress complemented the look with black leather boots and a black clutch. Dressed like this, she beamed for the photographers and waved to her fans. Her characteristic red hair fell in light waves onto the 79-year-old’s shoulders, making her look almost youthful.

Songwriters Hall Of Fame honors the best songwriters

The Songwriters Hall of Fame gala honors – as the name suggests – deserving composers every year. In addition to Presley, Carrie Underwood (41), El DeBarge (63) and Jason Isbell (45) also attended the event.

At the 35th edition of the event, four-time Grammy winner SZA (34), rapper Timbaland (52) and the band REM were among those to be pleased about receiving an award. The latter provided a special moment: REM performed in the original translation for the first time since 2007 and performed an acoustic version of “Losing My Religion”.
