Initially expected at the end of March before being pushed back for the first time to May 7, it was finally until September 3 that Prison Architect 2 should see the light of day. News announced by Paradox Interactive in a post posted on its forum then confirmed on the game’s Twitter account.
According to the publisher, the certified versions on all platforms are already ready to be published. However, it seems that problems, particularly regarding memory usage, are still present. This is why the decision was made to delay the release of Prison Architect 2 in order to avoid any problems.
You will therefore have to wait until the start of the school year to start penitentiary management. The title will be released as planned on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. Please note that console players who have already pre-ordered the game will receive an automatic refund and will therefore have to renew their pre-order if they are still interested.
