Already sentenced in 2003 to a one-year suspended prison sentence for possession of child pornography, Mr. Lamberth was the first defendant tried by French justice for having ordered, via the Internet, sexual assaults on young girls in the context of child pornography shows. filmed in the Philippines and broadcast live.

On his release from prison in December 2016, he was subject to judicial review: he was banned from leaving the territory, had to report monthly to the gendarmerie of his place of residence (Canet-en-Roussillon, in Pyrenees-Orientales).

Concretely, the Bordeaux police were unable to locate and summon Mr. Lamberth, after the filing of Maëlle J.’s first complaint, because they did not then have his address in France, although given as part of his judicial review, but from an address “found in files” in Singapore.

In 2021, a year after the conviction of Stephan Lamberth by the Paris Criminal Court, Maëlle J. decides to refile a complaint in Bordeaux against this “ex-very good friend of the family” and thus relaunch the file.
