As a new season of Star Academy returns on November 4, information on teacher salaries has been revealed.

There star Academy is about to make its comeback. After the immense success of the new version of the program last year, TF1 decided to renew for a new season. A new season will begin next November 4. It will last longer than the previous one since the adventure will be spread over three months rather than just one. During a press conference this Wednesday, October 4, the program director of the flow of TF1 emphasized that it was “the right length of time for students to progress”. However, if Mrlène Schaff and Lucie Bernardoni remain the two tutors, Yanis Marshall and Laure Balon will not be part of this new season.

Jean-Louis Blot, one of the producers of the show, justified their departures by explaining that “ithey have personal projects that are complicated to implement if we take them three months. The life of a school is that the teaching staff moves”. To replace Yanis Marshall, the production called on Malika Benjelloun. She has notably worked with Robbie Williams, Billiy Crawford and Puff Daddy. For stage expression classes, it is Cécile Chaduteau, former dancer of Kamel Ouali and ex-backing vocalist of Johnny Hallyday who will be in charge. Side wages, Audience revealed what each teacher received for their participation in the Star Academy. And, there are some differences. As a director, Michael Goldman was the highest paid with 5000 euros per weekor 30,000 euros for the entire season. Yanis Marshall was the highest paid teacher since he received 18,000 euros in total for the six weeks of adventures. Laure Balon, Adeline Toniutti and Lucie Bernardoni received 6,000 euros. Marlène Schaff won 4,800 euros per monthwhile Pierre de Brauer received 3,600 per month.
