The Spartacus Project has been talked about for several weeks now. It would be the code name of a PlayStation service, which would be similar to Xbox Game Pass. The project was also revealed by Bloomberg, at the end of 2021.
Recently, the Spartacus Project has returned to the forefront. Indeed, recently, Bloomberg mentioned the subject again: according to their sources, PlayStation is expected to show off Project Spartacus this last week of March. For the moment, we do not yet know, precisely, when the announcement will be made. It could be that PlayStation decides to make the official announcement, after having unveiled the PS Plus games offered for the month of April, this Wednesday, March 30.
Moreover, according to other information, as yet unverified (we remind you), Project Spartacus will offer several services, at different rates : including the current PS Plus offer, i.e. games offered every month, and a more or less complete catalog of titles (for download and/or streaming), depending on the package chosen. As of now, plenty of sources are mentioning likely pricing for these packages, but nothing is quite official yet.
Of course, we will keep you informed of future announcements regarding Project Spartacus. For the moment, this initial information should be taken with caution and wait for the official announcement from PlayStation, on this subject, to know the end of the story.
