Sony is giving away PS5: this is how much the participating TV models cost you
In order to get one of the free PS5, one of the premium TVs from the Sony Bravia XR series must be purchased or pre-ordered from a participating retailer between April 11th and May 10th, 2022. Specifically, these are devices from the Bravia XR Masters Series A95K (from 3,045 euros RRP), the Bravia XR 4K mini LED television X95K (from 3,499 euros) and the Bravia XR OLED television A80K. The latter are still available from a proud 2,299 euros and are therefore the cheapest choice if you want to spend as little money as possible and still get the PS5 for free.
Danger! O2 offers one of the few permanently available solutions to get a PS5. There you get the PS5 in a bundle with a mobile phone tariff.
Here you can find all PS5 tariff bundles at O2 (display).
You then have to register with Sony as a buyer to secure the console for free. Full terms and conditions for the PS5 promotion can be found on Sony’s promotion page. Among others, the following retailers are taking part in the Sony campaign.

Sony Bravia XR: Different price and performance classes
Basically, the new TV range of the Sony Bravia XR collection can be divided into three categories: The LED entry-level class from 1,049 euros, the OLED upper class from 2,299 euros and the mini-LED luxury category, the lower price of which is 3,499 euros . With such different prices, of course, the equipment and performance data also differ: Even if all devices in the new Bravia XR range have a 4K UHD resolution, the impressive contrast of an OLED display cannot be achieved for its cheaper LED relatives.
There are also differences in the sound between the price and performance classes: While the OLED models work with the Acoustic Surface Audio+ for the sound, the Acoustic Multi-Audio is at work in the LED models. However, all of the new TV models from 2022 should be compatible with the new Sony Bravia Cam.
