You can then connect your account. Create a PSN account or enter your credentials. You can do this manually from the interface or scan the QR Code displayed with the PlayStation App. You have the option of doing this later, but it will make it much easier to do it now. Then transfer your data from your PS4 to your PS5 by putting the two consoles on the same internet network or via a LAN cable. This is quite long, especially if you had a lot of games and saves on your PS4.

The essential games

Astro’s Playroom

This is the game that comes with the PS5 and it is well worth your time. Astro, the emblematic little man discovered in particular with the PlayStation VR, returns to demonstrate the full potential of the console and especially of the DualSense controller through a succession of mini-games in different universes. All of them pay homage to the history of PlayStation with multiple nods and collectible artifacts. Don’t be fooled by his deceptively easy going.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits

One of our favorites of the year and one of the most poetic games in the PS5 catalog. In this narrative action-adventure game, Kena has the power to communicate with spirits and interact with the environment. Supported by cute little nature spirits named Rots, she sets out in search of the temple of the sacred mountain to guide spirits wandering near a village invaded by a mysterious evil. Explore nature in this soothing and bewitching game, but with rhythmic and frenzied battles. A game that scores.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

We no longer present the spider-man. This time, he has the traits of Miles Morales in this title derived from the initial saga. He must use his powers and equipment to roam New York and undermine the design of a corrupt energy company. Between his friends, his mother who wants to make a political career and his obligations towards the citizens, he will have to choose his destiny … at the end of the line. A game to discover in 4K HDR / 60 FPS or in 4K HDR / 30 FPS with ray tracing. But what is highly appreciable is the lack of loading time to get from one corner of the city to another of the breathtaking beauty and realism.

Deathloop

Die, start over, progress, kill, die, start over with more information, progress, kill… get killed. Deathloop, it is above all death in a loop that awaits you in this game with a very seventies touch. Blackreef is a den of sociopaths in which you must try to survive and eliminate the Visionaries who stalk you. But be careful, you must collect clues and elements to better eliminate them, avoid traps and tense situations. Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart

The game that is the pride of the PS5 as it fully exploits all of its possibilities. This platform-style action game puts the iconic PlayStation duo back in the spotlight in a new adventure against the villainous Nefarious who has set out to take over not only the galaxy, but every possible parallel world. . Separated by an explosion, Ratchet and Clank will try to find themselves helped by a newcomer, Rivet, the female counterpart of Lombax. A game that also takes advantage of the strengths of the DualSense with adaptive triggers adjusted according to the weapons selected. A real Pixar to play, for young and old.

And also…

Model for its puzzle aspect. A game in which you manipulate the elements of a model in which you find yourself. But be careful to think in several dimensions to be able to progress. This year’s flagship game from EA, It Takes Two is to be made for its unique offer of local co-op or online two-player game with the obligation to collaborate in order to progress. An intelligent, fun game, tinged with humor around a serious subject: separation and the need to find collusion in order to move forward.

If dying does not scare you, the strange atmosphere of Returnal, the game where you spend your time dying and relive the same scene, will please you. To discover for its sound environment and the perfect use of the DualSense controller (haptic feedback and its triggers). For the beauty of the graphics, Death Stranding Director’s Cut (Kojima’s strange game with Norman Reedus and Léa Seydoux) or the very difficult Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will delight your peepers in their PS5 version as much as play with your nerves or your patience.

There are many games that are for many PS5 exclusives. But the year 2021 has been rich in games from third-party publishers that deserve a next-generation console like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Devil May Cry 5 in next-gen version and 4K / 120 FPS, Resident Evil Village, Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, etc.
