PS5 too big: player shrinks the console

The PlayStation 5 is relatively new, futuristic and, for many PS players, also really pretty to look at – but it’s quite large. It was definitely too big for the YouTuber DIY Perks, so he took out a screwdriver and turned the system into a more manageable and slightly less conspicuous version.

Since the release in November last year, the PS5 has enjoyed great popularity and demand is still very high. Despite its popularity, fans often complain about the console’s design. After Sony’s next-gen project was unveiled last year, numerous memes emerged, some of which made it look pretty bad.

Instead, many fans find it too bulky and difficult to store. However, one owner managed to convert the PS5 in such a way that it only about a third of their original size Has. YouTuber DIY has uploaded a video showing how to take apart a digital version of the PS5 and rebuild it into a small system. The finished product gives no indication that a state-of-the-art console is inside.

PS5: Many let off steam with the design
