PSG: Neymar’s firm focus after his supposed altercation with Donnarumma

The atmosphere was gloomy on Wednesday in the PSG locker room after the defeat and elimination against Real Madrid in the knockout stages of the Champions League. But tempers would not have heated up and there would have been no altercation between Gianluigi Donnarumma and Neymar, as announced by the Spanish press.

At the final whistle, the tone would have risen between the two teammates. The Brazilian reportedly blamed the Italian goalkeeper for his mistake on Karim Benzema’s equalizer, before the former AC Milan goalkeeper accused the Parisian No.10 of losing the ball on the 2and Madrid goal. After everyone’s reproaches, they would then have been on the verge of coming to blows and should have been separated by several players, who witnessed the scene.

But Neymar strongly denied having had any clash with Donnarumma. “I hate coming here and talking about the news. But that is a lie. There was no fight in the locker room!!! Incompetent journalists who want to show off, try next time okay?” he posted on social media.

The former Barcelona player also posted a screenshot of an exchange of messages with the Paris goalkeeper. “Hi Ney. Sorry about yesterday. This information is unacceptable”, sent Donnarumma to Neymar. And the native of Santos responded to him, taking his defense.

“Calm ! It can happen in football… We are a team and we are with you. You are still very young and you will gain a lot! Get up and continue,” Neymar wrote to him. And it is together that the Parisians will have to recover from this new disaster.
