PUBG: Battlegrounds will host the 19.2 update in a few days, and Krafton will take the opportunity to launch a collaboration with McLaren Automotivethe famous manufacturer of supercars English. The players of Battle Royale will thus have access to skins vehicles McLaren GT and various objects in-game.

This will not be the only novelty in PUBG: Battlegrounds with the arrival of patch 19.2, here is what awaits players:

  • Drive in style with McLaren Automotive : During PUBG: Battlegrounds’ collaboration with McLaren Automotive, players will have the opportunity to obtain a “McLaren GT Standard – Onyx Black” vehicle skin, costume, gear, emote and more via caches of McLaren loot in-game. Players can also equip the RB Cup vehicle with McLaren skins and can equip the special McLaren skins on the vehicle through the new vehicle interaction feature. Players can apply the skins by pressing the secondary interaction key in front of the vehicle. The skins do not affect the performance of the vehicle, and the original characteristics remain unchanged.
  • Vehicle workshop – Players can also craft “McLaren GT Standard – Silica White” and “McLaren GT Elite – Volcano Yellow” vehicle skins in the Workshop using McLaren Tokens acquired from McLaren Loot Caches and Craftsman Pass: McLaren . McLaren Loot Caches and Artisan Pass (except Belgium and Netherlands) will be sold in PUBG: Battlegrounds during PC and Console collaboration periods. Additionally, exclusive McLaren Automotive customizable items will also arrive with the collaboration so players can create their own McLaren vehicles to suit their own style. In the Workshop, players can create exterior colors, brakes, rims, and more to customize their vehicle. Custom cars can also be displayed in the Custom Lobby.
  • McLaren container ship : Throughout the collaboration, a special container ship will appear at each starting point of Erangel, Miramar, Taego, Sanhok, Vikendi and Deston. Players who own a McLaren vehicle skin can interact with these containers. Only the player and/or teammates who open the container can drive the vehicle. McLaren containers and vehicles will be removed once the match has started.
  • The Unfriendly Restaurant Truck : A new vehicle has arrived in Deston, dispensing not-so-friendly treats to players exploring the map. If you see the new Food Truck driving around Deston, you can expect a buffet of bullets coming out of the truck’s open window! The Food Truck carries up to four passengers and features a large, vertical, open window on one side of the van and is only available in Deston.
  • New weather system : Players who jump into Deston will be able to experience the new time-of-day changing weather feature, which will provide more realistic lighting/weather conditions during a single match. The feature will not consider a full cycle from day to night and only a short cycle will be displayed, with no drastic change in the angle of the sun.
  • Animation refresh : The animation update, originally introduced in a letter from the developers, will be available for the 19.2 update! The goal of this update is to improve the player experience by improving and refining the staging of the game’s animations, while maintaining the current timing and strategy.
  • New weapon accessory, the heavy cross : The heavy stock is coming with the 19.2 update and will offer less recoil at the cost of slower ADS timing. See the patch notes for a full rundown of heavy stock compatible weapons.
