PUBG: New State, a big update with an Extreme mode, the P90 and a Rimac

In parallel with PUBG: Battlegrounds who just passed free-to-play and which attracts new players, Krafton obviously always takes care of PUBG: New State, Battle Royale also free but on iOS and Android, plunging us into a more futuristic world. And he welcomes today a big update.

Players can now discover the game mode BR: Extreme, for parties of up to 64 people and with rounds limited to 20 minutes, only on the map Three. In addition to this, players can find the Rimac Nevera, hypercar real designed by Bugatti Rimac and which boasted last summer of being the fastest electric car in the world, but also the weapon P90 and other new features, detailed right here:

  • New Mode – BR: Extreme : a new experience developed and optimized for mobile gaming, where each 20-minute round is limited to 64 players. In this mode, the battlefield is restricted to a smaller playable area (4×4) within the Troi map, which will be chosen at random and will change with each match. All Survivors start with a P1911 Handgun, Smoke Grenade, 300 Drone Credits, and fully charged Boosts. At the start of the match, two Supply Crates are dropped in random locations, which will allow players to gear up in high-end gear earlier in the match. This new Battle Royale experience also includes other features:
    • The amount of vehicles and items through Troi is increased, allowing players to farm faster;
    • The survivors will parachute from a lower altitude so that they can land on the map as quickly as possible;
    • Delivery drones will arrive faster, allowing players to collect items faster;
    • The waiting time before a teammate can be redeployed has been reduced to 60 seconds;

  • New Vehicle – Rimac Nevera : The January update also kicks off PUBG: New State’s partnership with Bugatti Rimac, as players can now climb into the world’s fastest production car – the Rimac Nevera and test drive it through. the Troi card. A limited-time Rimac crate has been introduced, which contains various exclusive in-game items, such as the Rimac Nevera in five color variations: Gunpowder Gray, Prism Glow, Sunburst Red, and Luminous Gold.
  • New Season & Survivor Pass : Season 1, which officially began after a two-month preseason, introduces eight new levels, ranging from Bronze to Conqueror, for players to complete. As they progress through each level, players will earn various rewards, including Chicken Medals and weapon skins. The Survivor Pass Volume 3 is also available now. It centers around the character of Ben Brown, who is part of the Great Lakes Coalition (GLC). Players will be able to complete missions to earn various rewards and items, while exploring the history of PUBG: New State.
  • New Weapon – P90 : This submachine gun, which will appear in supply crates on battlefields, will come with a standard Level 2 transformable scope and suppressor, but cannot be modified with other accessories. It uses 5.7mm ammo which can now be purchased from the Drone Shop.

  • New weapon customization options : Thanks to the DP-28’s new muzzle brake, players can now attach a Flash Hider (AR / DRM) or Compensator (AR / DRM) to the DP-28’s weapon. By using either of these accessories, however, the damage done by the weapon will be slightly reduced. Players can also attach the lightweight stock to the Beryl M762 to reduce scattering of bullets when shooting from the hip or shoulder, while increasing the speed of the ADS. The stability of the weapon will be affected by the use of this accessory.
