Pulse compact #14 – Five tips for a well-groomed bald head – Knowledge

Tip 1: Trimmers for beginners

The electric razor is recommended for the first step towards bald shaving. Because this minimizes the risk of injury.

Tip 2: Planer for advanced users

The zero millimeter cut can only be achieved with a planer. The advantage: This total shave lasts for several days. On the other hand, the risk of injury with the planer is very high.

Tip 3: Cold water

If you want to avoid spots or pimples on your bald head, you absolutely have to rinse with cold water. Because cold water contracts and closes the pores.

Warm water does exactly the opposite: it dilates the blood vessels and that’s why you bleed faster. And bacteria and impurities also get into the wound. The result: red pimples and ingrown hairs.

Tip 4: Protection

Hair moisturizes and protects against sun and cold. If they disappear, the bald person has to take over the protection: The bald head needs regular moisture, sunscreen and various hats.

Tip 5: The Teflon bald head

“We also need protection from within that reflects to the outside. And that’s why we have developed and established the so-called Teflon bald head in our community,” says bald head activist Christos Stavrou. “This means that nothing sticks to stupid sayings and comments about hair loss or baldness.” According to the motto: “In one ear, out the other, day in and day out.”
